Lute Barber joined Haley & Olson in October 2013. Lute earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, Lute interned in the chambers of the Honorable Frances H. Stacy at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He was also the Chief Notes and Comments Editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. While at Rice, Lute played offensive tackle for the football team and twice received the Rice Scholar-Athlete award for Football.
Lute was admitted to the bar in November 2012 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Prior to joining Haley & Olson, Lute worked as an associate attorney for a firm in Houston where he focused his practice on corporate and transactional matters.
